ACT! Data Export Service

PureMac now offers an ACT! data export and conversion service to assist customers who need to export their data out of ACT!. We can export up to the current version 2010 v 12. This service is required as ACT! does not provide a complete data export function and it is therefore very difficult to get your data out of ACT!

• Access

• ACT! version 6

• FoxPro Database

• Salesforce.com

• dBaseIV

Exporting to Daylite

There are 2 conversion processes available for clients looking to move from ACT! to Dayite. One is for ACT! up to version 10 and the other for users of ACT! version 11 .

ACT! 6 - 10

The ACT! database is sent to Marketcircle and converted to a Daylite database and returned. Allow 2 weeks for this process to be completed.

ACT! 10 - 12

PureMac offers a custom export service for these versions of ACT! as Marketcircle currently don't offer this service. This process allows a large portion of the data to be converted to Daylite. Note that there is some data loss in this process as the ACT! and Daylite Databases are not identical. We will provide a sample data export of 200 records to clients before the final export is conducted to ensure that the necessary data is converted.

Data Extract or Full Daylite Database

The data can be provided in a raw format for clients to import to Daylite (or other systems) themselves or we can provide a Daylite Database with the data imported and cleaned. It should be noted that not all data can be reconstituted in Daylite. To assist you in seeing what data will successfully migrate and what you might lose we provide a sample export service before you commit to the entire conversion. In our experience all the important (relative term!) data comes over and things like ACT! dynamic groups, which do not, can easily be re-made in Daylite.
